In 2007 Lyndell Brown and Charles Green spent 6 weeks in Iraq and Afghanistan, moving from base to base, gathering a vast archive of photographs. They were Australian Official War Artists, working on location for the Australian War Memorial embedded with the Australian Defense forces in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Gulf. The group of works on display and now in our collection were specifically selected by the artists. |
