Selected from a major private collection of illustrations from Australian children’s picture books, the exhibition includes original artworks by Graeme Base, May Gibbs, Shaun Tan and Ron Brooks.

Albert Ullin was the founding owner of the Little Bookroom, a specialist children’s bookshop. He began to collect the original artworks in 1973. 91 framed illustrations are touring, along with a mini “Little Bookroom” where children can read or be read to during the exhibition.
