The fascinating and lively Step Right Up: the Circus in Australian Art offers both an appealling and challenging exhibition about all things 'circus' related from a fine arts perspective. Newly commissioned works, together with an historical survey, explore the many mythologies of the circus - as a refuge from real life, as an imaginary world of exaggerated good and evil, and of physical achievement and mystery.
