VOLUNTEER |
| HRAG values your help |
HRAG is a not-for-profit public institution that aims to bring the finest quality art and associated programs to the Wimmera region. Many of HRAG’s activities are only made possible by the generous assistance of our volunteer network.
|
Volunteering is a fabulous opportunity to become involved in the Gallery, learn more about art, make new friends, develop new skills and assist HRAG in the process. All of our volunteers help out by staffing the Gallery on weekends and assisting at events and openings.
|
| For volunteers with professional training in art, museum sector or archiving who are seeking to develop new skills there are also opportunities to assist in Collection Management. These projects are initiated via special arrangements with the Curator. Students are also encouraged to approach us about work experience and skill development opportunities. |
Due to the investment in training new volunteers HRAG asks that volunteers commit themselves to the Volunteer Programme for a period of at least 6 months. We’re sure you will consider the commitment rewarded in full. |
